  1. Hey everyone, Clark here! I wanted to ask some advice regarding contracts. When I was offered the job in an interview, they asked me if I was willing to stay for 2 years. I said yes, but six months down the line I'm having some family issues that may require me to move back. When I signed the job contract, it stated that there was no contract agreement regarding the length of my employment, and that the hospital is at will employment. So, where do I stand on this? Am I bound to two years, or because my contract stated the opposite, am I in the clear?
  2. Hi everyone! I am in my last year of nursing school. (I graduate Oct. 2016 with a BSN). I am trying to find a bit of guidance and direction. Stats 3.3 GPA (I'm hoping I can make it to 3.5 in my last 3 terms remaining) 3 Letters of Rec so far from clinical and theory instructors Volunteering at Kaiser in NICU Office Support (Not directly with patients) No previous hospital experience. Will be 21 when graduating. (Young.) Southern California Resident I want to get into a New Grad program and hopefully be hired in the NICU or PEDS ER. I ended up loving pediatrics. I enjoy adult ICU also. My questions are: How can I improve my resume? Having no prior hospital experience worries me. Should I get a job in home health for experience? What New Grad programs do you believe are the best, teaching wise? What are common New Grad interview questions? Will my young age affect my chances of being hired? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to send PM! Thanks everyone! -Clark
