Hey, just got an email that I was wait listed for both ace and trad.. There is nothing in regards to how many wait list positions there are or where I stand. But hopefully I will know soon! Good luck to those who are still waiting!

I still haven't heard back yet..anyone else still waiting? I'm assuming my chances are not great at this point, but it would be nice to know already!

I wonder if they are accepting more ace than trad this semester? Does anyone know the breakdown? I also haven't heard of a single person getting into trad.. Or getting denied.

Hey, when were yall's applications received (on the application status check page)? Mine was on 3/17. I wonder if that has anything to do with when we hear back or if it just strictly off of points? The wait continues.. I am not handling this well haha..

Congrats on your acceptance into the ace program, ASM! Hugh told my friend that there were just under 200 applicants this semester.. 194 or 197? I think that is less that usual for Fall.

Thanks for the update! Did Hugh happen to mention the range for the middle group gpa/teas scores? Ugh, I'm so anxious!

Hey I just called.. All I got was that I would hear by May. Hugh was on the phone and not available. And then I was transferred to someone else who told me I would need to ask Ms. Little but she is out of town until Monday. So that was not helpful at all haha.

Nothing here! I did hear about one more person getting into the ace program though. I'm guessing I will hear sometime next week..

@stephanier2009, I have heard great things about both GSU's and KSU's program. You will get a great education at either school. I think the difference, as a few people have mentioned, is location and setting for both school and clinicals. Still no email here . On the bright side, pretty much everyone I know who is applying has not heard anything either.

I don't know any details about his acceptance other than that he got it this morning. Have you decided where you are going if you do get into gsu?

This is my first time applying. I currently go to gsu, but got my first undergrad at gcsu.

A guy in my class was accepted into the ACE program this morning...so I guess they are beginning to send out notices. I have not received anything yet.

Hey @Berniex312, that's too bad about Mercer! Maybe it's worth a shot to call and ask an advisor if they will make exceptions about science classes? I know some of the prereqs (religion and nutrition for example) can be taken in the summer between your first and second year of nursing school too..so that may also be an option. Has anyone heard anything more about when GSU emails are going out? Or know of anyone getting an email?

Thanks! Yeah my overall is only a 3.1 and is why I got denied. However, Mercer accepted me with a 3.1..they really look at everything though. I like that I had the opportunity to write an essay about myself and am pretty sure that's why I got it. You should apply there. Their priority deadline is April 1, and final is May 1. They are more expensive though. Being a CNA will be great for your resume and nursing applications!

Hey everyone! I applied for Ace and Traditional this semester.. this wait is terrible! My stats are not great. I have a 3.68 program, 3.78 science, and an 81 TEAS. I have a degree already, which is what brought down my gpa (luckily GSU doesn't look at overall!). I was a veterinary technician before going back to school, so I am hoping that works to my advantage.. I am not sure how or if that would factor into my points. I feel like I am right on the fence for getting in. I got denied from Emory and Kennesaw, but did get into Mercer, so at least I have a back up..but really want Ace at GSU! Hopefully we will begin to find out in the next week or two.
