  1. Has anyone's letter arrived yet?
  2. GPA:3.7 TEAS:84% I have two volunteer experiences, one was healthcare related. Also had nice recommendations and worked hard on my essays.
  3. I'm traditional BSN and received my "admit-institution" status today...shocked decisions came out so early.Check your statuses good luck to everyone.
  4. @GreyLady I was wondering how many applicants there were in total, and how many seats are available at each campus for this upcoming fall?
  5. Within a week means ANY DAY within the next 7 days, not necessarily next week. That could be this Tuesday thru Friday (or next Monday).I know everyone is anxious but relax,it's really not a long wait and based on what she said,it should come any day between today and next Monday.Someone said the week of the 20th i believe,it still applies. :) Good luck to everyone.
  6. Basically since June. That's because I took Teas V in August. But I wanted a higher score so I took the new one in mid October.
  7. Two reasons I know are that UMSON is ranked as one of the top ten BSN programs in the country, and has a higher NCLEX pass rate. I don't know much about Towson but I know a few people who've graduated from UMSON.They're both good schools i'm sure, but based on statistics UMSON is better. I personally plan on applying to both.
  8. Hey Lulu :) welcome. It was really nice and informative (it was an information session not open house,my bad). We got to hear from different faculty members as well as current/former students. They also told us what the typical schedule would be like for each semester (i wrote it down but threw it out which I regret. I'm always cleaning out papers smh). They even told us that they had a 100% pass rate for the fall semester that year, which was last year.
  9. My test results say that the national average is 60-something (forgot the exact number). But i'd recommend to anyone to try to get at least an overall score above an 80.Also depends on how competitive your program is....
  10. Yup.I went to an open house there last year and loved the school, and of course because it's a great program. also plan on applying to Towson though. You?
  11. I don't think biostat is a requirement but you can probably use the to fulfill an elective requirement. I'm just so over prerequisites and ready to move on to the nursing program lol. I'm in my 7th semester at CC and I've gotten basically all of my classes out of the way. I'm taking nutrition this semester and next semester I need two more electives. Have you taken TEAS yet?
  12. Yeah I emailed admissions the other day to try and find out when the application might become available. It should probably just say "BSN" since RN-BSN is different. Which prerequisites do you have left to finish?
  13. I know the app isn't up yet but I was wondering if anyone was planning to apply.
  14. Yes my fingers are crossed that everything turns out well.I'm applying to multiple schools so I'm sure someone will accept me.Thank you so much for your response.
  15. Hello everyone, A few semesters ago I received my first C in my prereqs. For some reason my school splits your Chem lecture grade and lab grade. I got a B in the lecture portion but a C in lab, which shows on my transcript. Im applying for nursing school this semester so that C makes me a little worried. My other important science grades are: A&P1-A A&P2-B Micro-A As of today my gpa is 3.7 which I feel happy about. But that lab grade bothers me so much. People tell me it's just lab don't worry about it. But I know that there will be applicants without ANY C's and I just hope that it can be overlooked. Do you think it'll be a big deal?
