Hey guys what are you studying for the med calc test? I have been doing the practice problems on BB and some online. I did not get a chance to get the book and CD they told us to so I am just worried I dont have enough practice come Thursday.

I went there to order the bundle and Scrub top. You can call and ask them to order both for you, I just tried on a Scrub top cause they had samples. You pay when you pick up your order.

Hey guys they don't have any books/uniforms or kits in the bookstore so I really went for nothing smh. The bundle is 1,052 not including the drug and peds book. Oh and about the lab kit she said she didn't know what was in it she named that saline was in it last year with other stuff.

I'm going to buy books and my Scrub top tomorrow at the store and to check out the lab kit. I can get most hospital related items so if it's just basics like a cheap stethoscope, gauze, belts, scissors. I will make my own, I'll have to ask the clerk lol.

Have you ladies gotten or ordered the books and or uniforms yet? Also what is in that 70$ lab bundle thing? Idk if I'm going to buy that. Thanks.

Hey guys I haven't been on here because I feel like every time I do I feel myself getting sad/negative and I don't like that so yeah... Here is some stuff I have seen go on I checked with BW my status on 11/18 and the count on web a was 40 seats available. My status has not changed since then but on web a there is only 28 seats left. When you look at Fall 2016 available seats there is 11 people who dropped and I think that is where those seats went to. If you go onto the nursing blackboard thing there is a handbook in there and you can look up what it says about re entry. They have to talk to the nursing head. I was just browsing last week and was curious about how many actual new applicants where accepted for fall after reading the handbook and she said 72. Do I think that's fair? Absolutely not but I don't think we have any choice.

When she said 72, that was the amount of new applicants. There where 98 seats but the 26 spots went to 2nd entering students, so people who failed/dropped NUR111 or went to another school and wanted to transfer into NUR111 at Wake.

No she said it varies each semester but it is usually in the 70's.

Hey everyone, little update. Got an email back from bw and she said for fall 2016 they had an acceptance of 72 new (non 2nd entry) students, and currently there are 70 accepted students for spring 2017. My heart knew I wouldn't get in this semester lol. So good luck to all of you others.

I took mine back in 2015 and I have 159 points too but you are ahead of me. I guess they made an error. =(

Pdlf, when did you take your nursing info session?

Hey CN_2bRN919, IDK about ECU but I know about UNC BSN program and the courses are pretty much the same as WTCC. There was a girl on the 2016 fall page who got into UNC with like 184-188 points I think. I think I am going to look into BSN programs too since it will probably cost around the same since I already have the pre-reqs and wouldn't want to buy another set of books for RN to BSN.

Yea, I went to an info session for DT and they only look at your anatomy classes. So if you have both A's in them you will get in (they also give 5 points for Durham residents) I just live too far :/

Hey everyone, right now I have lost hope. I don't see me getting in because of 60 alternates in a 18 point range. If you all (other alts) don't get in what are you going to do? Since we cant retake a class in time to apply for the fall of 2017?
