Hi, I'm currently a Registered nurse in the cardiothoracic surgical ICU in a trauma center in Pittsburgh. My main questions are.. is there really a difference between being a RN in the navy and a civilian RN.. And what are some of the differences. And what opportunities are there to go over seas. What is it like to be a nurse in the navy? I'm really looking into being a nurse in the navy and I just would like to know the positives and negatives as well. Are there out of the hospital opportunities as well for nurses? anything helps! Thank you!
