Hi Jake, Congrats! I'm in almost the same conundrum minus Simmons. I'd appreciate talking, but I'm not sure how much help we can be for each other if we're in the same boat! I get the impression that there's actually more clinical hours/exposure at UMASS Worcester vs. Yale, and more opportunities for research and a focus on integrative research. The preceptor-student ratio at UMASS is better than yale (I think 1:4-6 vs. 1:8), and the NCLEX pass rate is also higher. That said, obviously YSN's program looks great. I'm finding it hard to weigh the school's against each other with reputation vs. difference in degrees (MSN vs. DNP). UMASS Worcester is well regarded as far as I can tell, even if it's not an ivy, and more closely integrated with a medical school than Yale. I'd be happy to chat, and appreciate it, though I'm not sure on here how to share contact information with just one person and not all of allnurses.com. -Eli
