  1. I was reading the school policy and it says the professor should check with the office of Student Affairs to verify if the student has any prior violations before issuing any sanctions. The sanctions range from warning the student, F on the Assignment, F for the course. She decided to give me F for the course. I explained to her it was an honest mistake and even didn't argue with her. There is a grievance process that i can use but i feel i can talk to the professor once more and the chair to see if she would soften her stance. I own up to my mistakes but i feel this is a harsh punishment
  2. I am in my last semester for my BSN program with six weeks to graduation.I had already repeated one class in the program. So i have been accused of plagiarism and i accepted the charge because i didn't understand the topic and the instructions of how to go about it . I forgot to cite all the references.English is not my first language although this is no excuse for my action. I haven't been accused of anything of this sort or any academic dishonesty issue before. This is the first time. I spoke to the professor and acknowledged my mistake and apologized and asked her to let me me redo the assignment and punish me but she insists on giving me an F for the course which would mean failing two classes and getting kicked out of the program. I am so close to graduation. I feel my world is crumbling on me. I plan on talking to her again. Please help me because i am dying
