I was reading the school policy and it says the professor should check with the office of Student Affairs to verify if the student has any prior violations before issuing any sanctions. The sanctions range from warning the student, F on the Assignment, F for the course. She decided to give me F for the course. I explained to her it was an honest mistake and even didn't argue with her. There is a grievance process that i can use but i feel i can talk to the professor once more and the chair to see if she would soften her stance. I own up to my mistakes but i feel this is a harsh punishment
