  1. Okay these are my last questions for you and I promise I'm done! What was the last semester like? Someone told me that it is mostly online, is this true? And any tips on how to finance the program? Did you have to take a loan out?
  2. This is all great information, thank you for your reply! What about the summer time? Is there a break at all?
  3. What did you find was the most challenging aspect of the program? Also did you work while attending?
  4. I'll be attending this and I can't wait to get started. Super anxious but also excited as well.
  5. I was accepted for Fall 2017 but had to delay my enrollment for 2018 - can't wait to get started!
  6. I see no one has checked in here for awhile so I was wondering who will for sure be attending this fall?
  7. I'm in the same boat as you and was struggling with my decision. I've decided I will do my ADN and then complete an RN-BSN program afterwards. If I did the ABSN I would owe more than 60k when it's all said and done but that doesn't guarantee me a job and the last thing I want is to spend a million years paying off my student loans. I'd rather just get my RN and work (even if it's in LTC) while I get my BSN so that way I can have both experience and a BSN. I'm hoping I can complete my bridge program within a year and a half. Have you made a decision yet?
  8. I will be making my deposit tomorrow! Does anyone know how many people they are accepting for the fall?
  9. I've been thinking about it and the only way I will be able to afford it is by taking out loans. Once my excitement settled down I've found that I'm starting to really worry about where this will leave me financially. Assuming I survive the program I doubt I'll be making a comfortable salary right away and with a $50K+ loan tacked on I'm really apprehensive about everything now. Still thankful I was accepted but I'm just trying to find a way to plan ahead.
  10. I agree with Chamspol they check all of that before you take the teas. We're approaching the 4 week mark very soon and still nothing so I'm guessing either a lot of people did really well and received high scores so picking the top 40 has become harder for them, or a lot of people did poorly and they are having trouble figuring out who would actually be fit for the program.
  11. I completely get that spring break throws everything off a bit but having everyone wait until nearly a month later is just anxiety inducing. Hopefully everyone gets an update this upcoming week.
  12. I just checked the portal and I've been admitted!!! I'm so happy I could cry! I know it's going to be a very intense journey from here on out but it will all be worth it :)
  13. I honestly think they take a bit too long to let you know whether you're in or not. They have the scores and I think picking the top 40 should be simple enough especially since entrance into the program is based on this alone.
  14. Oh okay, I was only asking because I was curious to know if it's generally a good sign or just standard procedure.
