if it's the only job on my resume and I keep it for 6-8 months do you think that would look bad or just neutral? I'm trying to make it to the year mark but it seems like 19 alzheimer patients for 2 CNA's is a little crazy! Thanks in advance :)

I recently graduated from the Health Academy program at my high school where I obtained my CNA, and I'm in my first year of college (still doing prerequisites) to get into the RN program. I've been a CNA for about 2 1/2 months at an ALF memory care. Although I only work part time, I don't really like my job and it's extremely difficult, not what my employers made it out to be before I was hired. I'm not working for money (thankfully) but just for the experience and for my resume. How long should I keep this job for it to not make me look like a "job-hopper" or unreliable to future employers? BTW this is my first job ever and probably last healthcare job before I get my nursing license.

It's always better to be honest! I don't have any experience with this BUT I really really don't think it will affect you getting the job. If anything, they'll ask you about it casually, but it isn't significant at all! Good luck :)
