Thank you, so much, for replying :) I didn't think anyone would come across this and bother to drop an answer! So I didn't specify what license I have, but I have my LVN/LPN license. (I'm still getting my endorsement application completed with Virginia, but California is so difficult when it comes to trying to contact them. So I have no idea how long it will take for my Virginia License to process.) So right now, I have my California license. I did hear that Sentara hires new grads. I also found on indeed.com a link to Sentara jobs for LPN's, and I clicked on it and there was an "Apply" link. Did your friends get hired at the hospital? or? I've actually been out of school since August 2014.

Hello nurses I just moved from California at the end of December to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, and found out that I had passed my NCLEX on January of this year. Before I left California, I took a shot at my NCLEX after a few tries, and I unexpectedly passed! I have submitted an endorsement application with Virginia and all I have left for the application to be completed is for the California Boards of Vocational Nursing to mail a License Verification Form to Virginia so I can get my license here. I have been looking for jobs online, and have submitted a few applications while waiting for the situation of getting licensed in Virginia to be completed. I was wondering if there are any hospitals accepting new grads? ... possibly? I am barely getting to know the area and it is kind of hard trying to find a job with no connections or not even knowing anyone.. Thank you, in advance!
