Good luck to you! I did the same. I've been applying to different schools for the past three years with no luck. Hoping it's different this time. And, if it doesn't work out for me, then I can call it quits. But, I truly hope we all get good news in one form or another.

I wrote to the office Friday night and got the below response this morning. I'm still holding out hope! Fingers crossed for us :)!

If they're only accepting 50 students, I'm wondering if all acceptance emails went out...

Hi everyone! I've been doing my best not to be nervous and anxious, but it gets harder with each passing day. The positive vibes everyone's been passing along is giving me life and so much more hope <3. Just wanted to say thanks and good luck. It's quite the journey, but I believe we all will find a way to make it and become the best nurses we can be! I'm excited for all of you :D!

I don’t know how to tell. I’d have to call. But it should have been considered complete either on Sept. 10th or 11th. I dropped off the extra letter of rec on Thursday morning (9/10). I’m hoping they collected it from the mailbox that afternoon. If not, they definitely collected it by the next morning (9/11). I think I’ll call to make sure. I’ve been way too nervous.

I ended up getting another letter of reference and handed it in on time. The next day I got an email from my employer letting me know the letter was already sent. So, the school will get two letters now LOL. I’m okay with it.

Yes! I just submitted my application this past Friday to Montefiore, but my letter of recommendation from my employer is still missing. Montefiore won't accept letters via email or third party platforms. Only via regular mail. I'm so nervous now because I contacted this person a month ago requesting the letter, but the admissions office confirmed this morning they still haven't received it. So I emailed my employer this morning but haven't heard back on whether or not the letter was sent. And the deadline is this Friday. I'm thinking of asking another person, even though it's so last minute.

Hi all! Anyone know if the admissions office is still closed? I'm going to be in the neighborhood and thought I could drop off my application instead. Hoping there's a mailbox I can drop it off at.

I'm grateful! This eases my nerves a bit LOL :D. I have all but one prereq (MAT 1275CO) and have done well so I'm hoping they take that into consideration. My focus now is taking the TEAS. I really need to ace it. Bless you, thank you so much again!

Super helpful, thank you! I am a little nervous now because my GPA isn't at the 3.55 mark, but am unsure what method they use to calculate it. Do they only use your prereq GPA? Or do they combine courses/grades/GPA from previous schools attended? Also, I'm a little confused because their web site says they require biology, but I've been told it's not required. Would you mind sharing the correct prereqs needed? CONGRATS on your Fall start! I'm super excited for you and hope to join the program soon!

Thanks! It had been three weeks since transferring and emailing offices, including the transfer office. No one ever responded, so I had to reach out to the higher-ups and finally heard back. I explained my situation and they allowed me to register for one of the closed (all sections were closed at this point) MAT 1275CO classes. Starting the online course tomorrow and am excited. Wishing you a very successful semester, and hope you (and all of us) get into the nursing program :)

Hi! Wondering if you needed academic advisement before enrolling in courses? I never heard back from the advisement office and I've been emailing what feels like everyone and nothing. Now, all of the MAT 1275 courses are closed (save for two mid-afternoon classes that I can't take because of my full-time employment status). I've emailed the director of the advisement office as well as the VP of enrollment...nothing.

Thanks again. I'm looking to apply to some associate programs here in the city, Montefiore being one of them (it's a little outside the city actually).Not sure of where else yet.
