Hello all! I am looking for well educated advise. I feel as though I am stuck between a rock and hard place and I can't seem to make a decision. I have attended community college and received an associates in art which includes majority of nursing program prerequisites. I have applied to numerous programs and have been put on waiting lists. I am at the point where I need to make a move so that my sciences do not expire! I have looked into possibly attending an LPN program which I have been accepted into. This program will take me a little over a year to complete. But, I feel like if I attend his program I will be throwing away the credits I have already earned. Though I also feel if I do start the LPN program I have a good chance of transferring to a ASN or BSN program. My other option would be to attend a college to receive a bachelors in science that I can earn in one year. If I do the bachelor program I would apply for an accelerated nursing program. I have done some research and learned that these programs only accept 30-40 people a year! So my question is what route do I take? I am trying to keep tuition in mind but I am at the point where I will do whatever it takes to further my education. If there is anyone out there that has information or is going through the same situation please form a conversation with me to help with my process. Thank you!!!
