  1. I just took general chemistry through ISP to satisfy one of my nursing school prerequisites and loved it. I had a hard time finding information beforehand about the program, so I wanted to share my experience. I wish I had taken all my prerequisites through ISP- I feel like I retained so much more information than I did taking classes through Berkeley extension. I think the accelerated learning format where you just learn one thing for a short amount of time worked particularly well for me. Anyway- just wanted to throw this out there because I couldn't find that much information when I was enrolling. Feel free to message me if you want any info about my experience!
  2. Hi all! I am deciding between Penn's BSN/PMHNP program and Vanderbilt's prespecialty entry program for PMHNP. Vanderbilt's is only 2 years and skips the whole BSN thing. I'm originally from California and would really like to have the option to come back here after graduation, and I'm not sure which program would set me up better for that (or maybe they are equal in this area). I have no nurses or doctors in my family, so I would love some advice from my fellow nursing students! Does anyone have any advice about choosing between these two programs? Is anyone else making the same decision? Thank you!
