  1. Did anybody make a group for CEC cohort yet?
  2. Good luck to you. I am hoping to submit mine after i pass my HESI in about 2 weeks.
  3. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you do not work during this program, as it is very demanding. I know someone in the 2016 cohort who tried working but had to quit the job when the heat of the program was turned on. But then, it all depends on you, your background and tenacity. Impossible is nothing.
  4. I work at Seton Main ER. I believe that should do. You just need to get a letter from your manager stating your date of employment and and itemizing your job description. You can also download your job description from Seton intranet (my ascension) and attach to the letter.
  5. Hey guys. I hope we are all mentally preparing for the roller coaster next year. I spoke to Elizabeth concerning the CNA certificate requirement. If you have experience in that field, and like me, you are not a licensed CNA, you can get a letter from your employer itemizing your date of employment and job description. That should save you the time and $$ associated with CNA certification.
  6. Got accepted into Austin:up:. Good luck to everyone still waiting
  7. You are absolutely correct. I did not take the guy too seriously. Although I managed to convince myself that this will take a while so that I don't keep fretting. it will happen when it happens. Fretting wont change a thing:yes:
  8. Yeah I am serious. As dead serious as a Code Blue. I didn't get his name but he definitely did not sound at all like we'll hear anything in the next couple of weeks. I hope he is wrong
  9. I called this morning. Now i wish i hadn't.
  10. END OF THE MONTH OF BEGINNING OF OCTOBER?
  11. That is ridiculous! what if, God forbid, someone has a family emergency? That policy doesn't make sense to me at all.
  12. Being anxious is the natural thing to do:). I take my anxiety out on all the vendors that send me unsolicited emails. click click...unsubscribe:madface:
  13. lol Is your name Jon Snow? I think you made a great point.
  14. Got my blue card in the mail yesterday. It appears i have no criminal records:). I hope those of us who are having a bit of a difficulty with the CBC are making some headway.
  15. If you ever left an interview feeling certain you covered all the ground you should cover, chances are that you were the interviewer, not the interviewee. Had my interview today. I believe it went well. Same things they always look for: your support system, your experience with online leaning, any experience in the medical field etc. God's grace to us all. Now my watch begins...
  16. hopefully, you said enough. what kinds of questions were you asked?
  17. yeah. common guys! share your experience.
  18. Hi everyone, I Just finished fingerprinting for the CBC today. It took less than 5 minutes. Scheduled to interview on 8/24. For those who will be interviewing tomorrow, please do well to share your experience with the rest of all. Thank you
  19. Successfully scheduled CBC fingerprinting appointment. I just clicked the "here" link on the FAST PASS attachment and I did not have to put in any code. It was automatically generated.
  20. i say a bag of salt í ½í¸„í ½í¸„
  21. Yeah. I am trying to figure it out. Why does the instruction letter say "congratulations on your offer of admission..." ? I believe that offer has not yet been made.
  22. Did anybody get the criminal background check email?
  23. I just called the office to make sure. The staff member in the office quickly replied that it had been recieved even before I introduced myself. It appears they saved our phone numbers in their phone system. Maybe you should call them to be sure.
