  1. Hello, I am a cegep diploma RN from Quebec as well. I was able to obtain my registration from the CNO with no additional education and the OIIQ license is transferable. From start to finish, it took me about 6 months to get my license. Now, I will give you some information that you may not like. Right now Ontario is not hiring(if they are it's probably mostly internal) and there were recently a lot of layoffs. Which means the lack of education and skills will put you at the bottom of the list. Even though I am registered to do my Bachelors and I've been working in critical care for over year, I have so far been unable to find a job after 4 months of searching and probably close to over 150 applications sent out. More than a little frustrating. Anyway- you never know when the market will change and you may have some luck! But I mostly wanted to let you know that yes-you can register. Goodluck!
