  1. I'm posting to ask about people's experiences having a baby during NP school! I am in an FNP program and will be graduating May 2019, but will be done with my clinical requirements this fall. I have been considering getting pregnant so that the baby is due sometime in the spring as I will only have one 2 credit hour course left in the spring semester. As of now I am working part time (24hrs/week) and have a supportive husband, and thankfully somehow no debt. I feel like having a newborn during that time should be doable, especially with 12 weeks off work and help from my mom. I would be pregnant during my last bit of clinical but I'm currently working ahead now to get extra hours in. Am I totally crazy, or can I do this??
