According to the NMC PDF article for nurses trained outside of the EU: The applicant must have completed either: • a three-year (or equivalent) pre-registration children's nursing training programme, or • a 12-month post-registration children's nursing training programme after completing a general nursing programme that meets our requirements I have worked for 15 years as a neonatal RN, in an NICU for 12 of those years. I took a BSN program in nursing but we don't have specialty training programs such as they describe. Does this mean that I will have to apply as an adult RN? I haven't cared for adults since nursing school, and am certainly not up on the latest research. I think that would just be dangerous. Not to mention the fact that I probably could not pass their exams. Am I misunderstanding something?
