Lied to in Interview
I disagree. It says that she values her family time and is not interested in working more than her scheduled shift. She was hired to work 5 days a week.. Not to work overtime. I wouldn't even answer the phone on my off time, but that's just me. Being a team player is working as a team at work and not calling in. Has nothing to do with dealing with work on your scheduled off days. Working overtime is appreciated but should never be required.

No, I went through a diploma program. Good luck to all of you! Nursing is a wonderful field to go into. I've done a little bit of everything and the good thing about nursing is that you have SO many options. You just have to find your niche. I've been an RN for awhile so I'm ready to do something new. My goal is to be an APN, so getting my BSN is the first step. Again, good luck!!! I've only heard good things about UALR's nursing program!

I believe baptist is an associate degree program so I would recommend ualr to go ahead and get the BSN. I graduated from a diploma program in 1997 and always wished I would've gone straight for the BSN.. But once you start working, it's hard to go back :). I've heard nothing but good things about UALR. Really haven't heard much about Baptist.
