we cant wear our scrubs not unless we're inside the hospital premises... for INFECTION CONTROL...

thanks for all your support :) il be assigned at the M/S pedia unit... we had our short visit earlier & was oriented withe unit's set-up.. i got really excited again... i just hope ill not make any variances when im there... im halso hoping that my preceptor will be really nice.. ( i read lots of horrible stories about preceptors) well i hope things will work out right...

hi, im a newly grad nurse.Just got my RN license last June. My clinical immersion at the Pediatric Unit will be on Nov 24, im a lil scared & happy about it.. i heard that its harder to deal with kids than adult & that makes me really nervous!!! just imagining performing skintest to a 2 y/o kid scares me off......... but then I really love kids!!! :) well i just need good advice so that I'll appreciate my job when I hit the floor.. hope you'll help me... :imbar

hi guys, my name is liz, i'm a filipina, just got my rn title last june 2005, nice to hir.........

i made my 1st med error last wednesday, & i felt so stupid bcoz it was oh so simple........ i forgot dat pennicillin IV is supposed to be given w/ D5W. good thing my patient ( a 1 yr old baby) did not have any reaction ....... i felt soo bad after that... i admitted the incident to my preceptor & she said its ok but still i feel so stupid..... i was the medication nurse that a.m... i was preparing & giving meds for 23 patients...... maybe that was the very reason i made that stupid error...
