Cpnre may 2017 exam result
Hey y'all! So I have a friend who had taken first and second attempt on CPNRE. Last attempt was in June 2016. My friend took some time off and she wants to take her third attempt in the new year...does anybody know if CNO will allow my friend to write her third attempt although her last attempt was more than a year ago?

Athabasca U - Post LPN to BN
Hey everyone! I'm currently working as an RPN (LPN) in Ontario and I'm very interested in Athabasca University's Post LPN to BN program. Before registering I have a few questions and I hope you all can help me out. The requirements include a graduation of a LPN/RPN diploma program, LPN license in Alberta, and a completion of 1700 hours equivalent to full-time work hours. So, if I complete 1700+ hours, can I transfer to another unit or do I have to constantly be working at the same facility until I finish the program (like Nippissing University)? Can I register to complete Cluster A while I'm accumulating my 1700 hours and waiting for my Alberta LPN license to process? Or do I have to wait until I complete all 1700 hours and have a LPN license in Alberta to register? Please let me know! I want to register as soon as possible!!

RPNs/LPNs in ED (Emergency Department)
Hey AllNurses.com! This article is going out to the RPNs and LPNs across Canada who work in the ED, and also to RNs who work in the ED. I am an RPN who in Ontario who is working on a Medical Unit and I have been very interested in working in the Emergency Department. Ever since I was in nursing school, one my my goals was to work in the ED. So to my RPNs/LPNs, what are your roles in the ED? What can you do and can't do? What type of patients do you see? And for the RNs, if you work with RPNs/LPNs in the ED, what are the RPNs/LPNs roles and responsibilities in your Emergency Department? Thanks for your time everyone!

CNO Registration
I've passed my CNO (CPNRE) registration exam and I'm currently waiting on my police check and it should coming in sometime around March 4th. I'm deciding on dropping off my application in person the day I receive police clearance. Over the phone CNO told me that it takes 15 business days (3 weeks) to process but that's too long for me. Has anyone gotten their CNO registration number is less than 15 business days? I really need to know if there's still hope for me to receive it in less than 15 days lol. It's stressful and frustrating because I just got hired and the facility is waiting for my registration so I can start on the unit.
