  1. Lost: Changing Specialties

    Hello fellow nurses! Feeling a little lost and thought I would reach out to others that have maybe felt the same way. I started out as an LPN in 2010 and then went for my RN in 2013. I went from working in a doctors office to a very busy cardiac floor in a hospital. I have been there for a year. My concern is I'm not sure I'm happy on this floor and I want to explore other specialties. I feel a little lost and don't know where I see myself. Has anyone else felt this way? Is it possible to go from a cardiac to a NICU unit or operating room? Should I stay on this floor a little longer? Thanks for any feedback
