  1. Don't say that, you have to encourage yourself! From old threads, LPN-RN track got their acceptance letters last, so its not over
  2. I had all my pre-requisites done and 3.8 gpa
  3. Your email is on the way, you have to claim it! Thanks guys, I can't wait to see everyone this summer.
  4. I got my acceptance into the accelerated program everybody check your email!!!
  5. This just made my day!!! Thanks @kaylaea93
  6. Congratulations @rn715 mostly everyone on this thread is trying to become a nurse. Did you go through UALR's nursing program? And how is the nursing world? Was it everything you expected? For everyone in the boat with me, it shouldn't be too much longer guys. We are closing the gap! Hopefully next week we can celebrate with @rn715 on our acceptance.
  7. I think you are right Candy, but I didn't want to give false hopes for April 1st because I didn't want to disappoint anyone. I hope we both get accepted. I've been working feverishly on scholarship applications and I'm hoping it all pays off in the end. I'm super D duper excited.
  8. Good morning everybody, this thread helps ease the anticipation, I always go back and read old threads to view the comments of when people started hearing something back. From the UALR 2015 Applicants everyone posted they received an email on April 14 2015 which was a Tuesday. So based on historical data, we may be in the same time frame. In 2014, people received notification by April 5th (however the EVOLVE Exam was a factor in the application process). I hope this helps and I cant wait until we get that Congratulations you've been accepted email. Regards, Sabrina
  9. Apparently everyone has been calling for an update and they have asked for people to refrain from calling. (I haven't called personally but I go to the website for updates) As of March 25, 2016 per UALR NURSING APPLICATION UPDATE UALR Nursing Admissions asks you refrain from calling to check the status of your admissions application. We understand and empathize with your anticipation and the committee is feverishly working on application files. Acceptance and waitlist letters will be sent at the end of the March and beginning of April. Please continue to check your email for updates.
  10. Thats not true, in the informational it was said you are ranked by gpa, and they have 200 spots so just calm down. It will be ok. Even if you get wait listed a lot of people flunk out summer 1 and that allows you to get in.
  11. I'm getting so anxious, we have about 2-3 weeks before we hear anything. UGHHHH I'm so excited and nervous.
  12. UALR only starts in the summer where you take a prep course (Nursing Essentials) and the real course load starts in the fall, UALR has a larger class and a higher pass rate on the NCLEX than Baptist. Baptist has rolling admissions so you can start in the summer, fall or spring. They are really good too but they are a bit more competitive because of the smaller class size, same thing for UALR. And I'm not sure if you have an option to get your BSN at Baptist, it's just Diploma only.
  13. They do calculate your grades again at the end of the semester no they do not have a spring start date but baptist does
  14. Thanks Flfuturern, I hope so too fortunately you don't have to have an amazing GPA to get accepted from what I've heard because they have a really large class and I think there is room enough for everyone. March is finally here and April is just around the corner so I hope to see everyone soon. FYI I tutor in Math and Science, my Bachelor's Degree is in Biology and Chemistry and I wanted to minor in Math but that required another semester but I really love this stuff and I love helping people. See you all soon.
  15. Hello all, I've been reading old threads and most people didn't get acceptance notification until mid-April and when I turned in my application last month, the receptionist said it would be around April before I heard anything. But I'm super excited, this is my first time applying to UALR, I applied to UAMS last year and didn't get selected. I currently hold a 3.76 GPA and I'm 25 years old with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. I've completed all my prerequisite courses and I'm just waiting at this point. I hope to see you all this May and good luck to everyone.
