Thanks for your reply. I was told by my one teacher that several students took there boards before graduation. The school's graduation is almost a month after completion of the program. I am confident that I will complete the PN program and pass my NCLEX. I am a Christian and know "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Wow. I am a black pn nursing student and cannot believe that this blatant racism is still in the workplace. My heart goes out to you. If you are a Christian, I would first pray because it does change things. I would ask God what HE wants you to do. I can't imagine what you are going through, but Jesus does. Hello. I am seriously considering relocating to San Diego CA. I am repeating a nursing course. Once I pass, I have 2 more levels and graduate. I plan to take my NCLEX- PN before I graduation. I heard from a classmate that I may have to take my NCLEX again. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't want to start all over again in another program in CA. I appreciate any information regarding this matter. Thanks.

Hello, I was a LPN student at a vocational tech school. I failed Intro to Med-Surg Nursing, which was level 2 in my program . I plan to repeat the course this April. I do remember there are some questions that will be basic, and others will be scenarios. The math should just be a review of what you have been already taught.If there are classifications of meds, from my experience it is all fair game. Narcotics and heart meds are always stressed. Try to remember what your teachers repeated, there are always 2 or more questions from lectures. Above all, think POSITIVE! Believe in yourself, don' t let stress and anxiety interfere with your focus and concentration. That was my downfall.Breathe.Your going to do fine. Good luck!

We ALL make mistakes. Yor day is unbelievably hectic. I'm an Lpn student who has to repeat a intro to med-surg class. Getting your RN licence is an awesome accomplishment. I was told that mistakes are going to happen, but just try to learn from them. At the end of the day, your still a good nurse.
