I have been accepted as well! I'm from New York and would be moving for the July 2016 start. My only concern is the accreditation and being able to come back to New York after graduation. For the out of state people do you plan on going back to your home state? If so how do you know the education/accreditation is approved. I'm just nervous I'm going to spend this money and not be able to transfer my license!

Good luck on your interview!! I have a question about Denver's housing. Is it expensive? And how does the light rail work? I've noticed that some other people posted about using the light rail to get to school just didn't know how far out of Denver it ran. Thanks!

Definitely understand and completely agree! Have the same concerns as you. The only thing with working is, I'd be nervous to commit to a job when our class schedules constantly change. I'm also concerned that I don't know if I got accepted or not yet and if I find out in April I got in, I'll only have 3 months to figure everything out, yet alone move across the country!

Yeah I'm concerned with that too! I was thinking to definitely take a loan out for the school and possibly a personal loan for housing and everything else I'll pay out of pocket. I have a full time job now so it will definitely be difficult not having an income but every nursing school advises you to not work. If I feel like I can balance nursing school and work then maybe I'll try finding a PT job. Maybe waitress? But planning on not to work as of now. Housing I have no idea about. The school is in Denver so ideally would like to find something in the area, but I read posts about others taking the light rail so may be cheaper to find something in a surrounding city and commute. Jeff also mentioned that because I'm out of state they can help find a roommate and it seems like nursing students live together which would definitely be nice! What were you thinking?

Yup I heard the same thing, just trying not to get my hopes up. I took the TEAS test and it's not bad. My test was online which I wasn't expecting. I like paper tests better but just be prepared to look at a screen just in case the HESI test is like that. I have a bachelors degree so I believe I do not have to take the HESI. Also Jeff didn't mention it in his email to me - hoping I don't have to. If you get into Denver will you be attending? I was looking at schools in California too but I didn't have all the prereqs for majority of the schools.

Yes if I get in! My interview is in April, but from what I've read the interview process is very casual. I've also read very positive posts about the school in general so if the interview goes well I will move there. Do you need to take their entrance test/have you heard anything else about the program and interview process?

I've applied to the July 2016 start! I heard from them last week about coming out for an interview! I'm from New York so I'm nervous about possibly moving so far away but also very excited! Has anyone else heard anything?
