  1. So, I'm guessing next we are going to the orientation this upcoming Tuesday at 10am. I have class during that time. Hope it wont be a problem.
  2. Anyone know which titers we will need?
  3. Congrats. Look you got in í ½í¸Š. So anyone know what all we will have to do before registration that's coming up here in less then three weeks? I'm waiting for the email. I know they are still trying to figure out the new vendor.
  4. Anyone have any updates? I have not received the email about the next steps yet. The last email I received said to look out for the next email outlining the next steps.Just a little anxious since I emailed them to switch from the evening to the day program and haven't heard back yet about that either.
  5. I got accepted as well but trying to change from the evening program to the day program. I emailed them back asking if I could do that. Hope they can change it, since when I applied I did not know evening would be starting at 2 or 4pm. So it would just be easier to do days early in the morning. I have four kids and rather just try to find a babysitter for my younger twins then all of them in the middle of the afternoon. Good luck to everyone taking the exam. Anyone thinking about starting a Facebook page for JJC nursing students class of may 2018?
  6. I have not heard how many applicants, just that directions for the essay were send out. I think you still have a good chance of getting in. Don't give up , you never know what will happen. Good luck to everyone taking the essay.
  7. Good luck, I am sure you will do great.
  8. So anyone know what the next steps are from other posts or other former applicants? I know there is the essay for some.
  9. Got the e-mail this morning confirming I am a qualified applicant and that we will receive information in a few days about the next step in the process. Good luck to everyone
  10. Joliet Junior College in Joliet Illinois.
  11. I think on other posts they said night classes start at 4pm and clinicals may be as early as 2 pm and it can be up till 10pm and then you have either Wednesday or Thursday off. Days are roughly from 8am till noon with a day off as well. I called the nursing admissions yesterday and she told me everything is good and congratulated me on getting into the program. You can double check and call them if you are nervous.
  12. Just spoke to the nursing admissions office to make sure they had all my transcripts. I forgot to send in my high school transcripts so I was double checking. At the end she congratulated me on getting into the program so I guess I am in. Pretty happy. Hope everyone on here gets in, would be nice to connect with some fellow students.
  13. I am sorry you had to go through that. Hope all is well. I just went to the advisor today. Since I got a 89 on my TEAS test I am guaranteed admission and will be starting in the fall. I transferred about half of my pre reqs from other colleges. I will be taking the anatomy classes this summer to get them out of the way. Good luck to you all.
