  4. Hi guys! I have been accepted into the nursing program at EKU and there is a dosage calculations test that I have to take during the orientation. For anyone who has taken it before or know about dosage calculation please provide as much information as possible for me! I struggled with conversions in chemistry so I need to learn that basically from scratch. what should i expect from this exam? what are some good learning materials and/or websites to learn conversions and dosage calculations?

  8. Same here ! I check the mail immediately every morning & have also checked EKU Direct just as often .. I was told that we would receive our letters this week & the week is slowly coming to an end . I am literally stressing myself out about it because I want to know so bad . lol The only thing I see on the Degree Audit through direct is that I am an ADN student but I dont think that means anything because if I am not mistaken, that has been there since I got accepted into the college.
  9. @AThom34 have you gotten your letter yet?
  10. Okay guys so I need clarification and advise. I have applied to the 3 year BSN program at UK and the ADN program at EKU. If I am accepted into the EKU ADN program i plan to bridge to the BSN there. I received a email letter from UK this morning stating that I have been admitted into the Pre-Nursing program for Fall 2016 and in order to be considered for the BSN program I must submit a final transcript with my current class grades included by May 15th. What exactly does this mean? Have I been accepted to the ADN program and not yet the BSN? they threw me off by saying that "i have been admitted in the Pre-Nursing Program.. As for advise, would the ADN at EKU then bridging to the RN-BSN route be a better, faster choice? I heard that the RN-BSN program at EKU is only 18 weeks online? Sorry if this is confusing..
  11. that sounds great ! all requirements met & i havent failed any pre-reqs .. i say Im in pretty good shape . seeing that they had to extend the deadline is a major plus as well! thanks for the info :)
  12. thank you for the wishes of luck ! i hope and pray every day that I am accepted ! :) you know how they do the point thing to determine acceptance right ? what were the point totals for you guys if you dont mind me asking ? I was told by my advisor that 40-50 point were goal ..
  13. Hey guys! So I applied to the ADN program at EKU for Fall 2016! I was told that the acceptance letters would be sent out by the first week of April. Has anyone gotten their letter yet? IM SO ANXIOUS TO KNOW!!! Its literally killing me. lol I wonder if there is a way to find out through EKU Direct? I found out I was accepted into the college that way .. Any other EKU ADN students out there?! S/N: I am so scared of the dosage exam .. i struggle with conversions BAD! any words of advice?
  14. I applied to the ADN program for Fall 2016 ! :) I was told that the acceptance letters would be mailed out before the first week of April & here we are. im SOOOO anxious to know its killing me! i wonder if there is a way we could see through EKU Direct?
  15. I know that this post is super old, but I saw there were a lot of EKU students here so I wanted to post my question. So I applied to the ADN program at EKU, i was told that the acceptance letters would be sent out by the first week of April. Seeing todays date, they have already been sent out. My question is, is there a way to find out if you got in online, like through the online student portal? I am asking because thats how I found out I got into the college about a week before I got my letter. My current GPA, classes taken, assigned advisor, and everything where already showing, and the acceptance letter was available to view as well.
  16. Thank you for that fast reply! I may just take St Joe into consideration now. Do you know if they allow you to swap weekends with other workers if something were to come up for me with school?
  17. Hi you guys! I am currently a SRNA still in school working on my RN degree. I was interested in working for St Joe but they require weekends for both full-time and part-time. Of course after I am done with school I dont mind to work weekend because that is definitely expected. But, I was wondering if you all know of any hospitals or anything here that doesnt require weekends for SRNAs? I would like to have the weekends off for study time for school! Thanks.
  18. thanks for that info ! I just applied to EKU and have taken the HESI A2 Exam. I have finished all prereqs, I have a 3.58 GPA, and scored an 86% on the HESI with a total if 47.87 point in admission points. Do you remember what your points were that qualified you to get in? Im sooooo nervous & im hoping I get in!!!
  19. Has anyone gotten into UK's BSN program as a transfer student? i have finished all my prereqs and my gpa is a 3.58 right now. is it pretty easy to get in?
