Hi there! I recently got accepted to LWIT's nursing school! This was my first time applying. I have a decent GPA 3.7, along with a TEAS of 78. I have several friends that have graduated from there and loved it! They all passed their NCLEX in one try too. Hope you got in!

My friend went to UWSON at the health sciences building today and asked. They said they mailed their decisions letters today and we should get them by the end of the week. I'm praying for everyone!!

@AJaqueline Congrats on the acceptance! Do you mind sharing your stats (gpa, experience, etc.)? Curious to know what they're looking for! As for UW, previous forums have said they've gotten theirs at the earliest April 8. Praying for everyone! Hope we all get in!

One more month you guys!! Lol. I've been snowboarding every weekend to let time pass by and get rid of my nerves. If anyone wants to join let me know, I go to Stevens! We could all end up in the same cohort anyway :)

@ rva27 Sounds like you wrote a stellar essay! I cannot say the same for myself in all honesty. I felt as if I was all over the place and kept repeating same ideas. I did however address all the questions and mentioned how although I am not familiar with dealing with this type of patient that I know it will give me perspective in what it means to be transgender in our community and will teach me the means to be flexible. I touched on my experience with the homeless and personally dealing with asthma so therefore I could empathize with the patient. Ahh my explanations sound better on here than the essay haha the pressure in that room was intense!

Ah hi everyone! I've stalked allnurses for the passed two years, and it's crazy how now I'm actually part of the forum! I took the proctored essay yesterday as well! For the math problems I also got 20ml, 1.8 ml and 1400 ml. As for the essay, i chose scenario 2.. which can honestly go either way. I was skeptical to choose it due to the fact I have not dealt with a transgender patient before, but I was told by one of the members of the committee last year to choose a patient that highly challenged me and to stray away from a scenario that was in my comfort zone. Anyways, good luck everyone!
