  1. Great info...thanks so much.
  2. Thanks for your input. I'm sure you're right....dragging it out only prolongs the anxiety!
  3. Yes, BonnieSc, I am talking about a short-term assignment; however, I am not really sure exactly what I am looking for. I graduate in a few weeks, have done my precepting in OB, and am hopeful to land a job in that dept. My heart has always been for those in need, who don't have access to medical care. I'm just not sure where to begin looking or even if I should until I have a few years of experience under my belt.
  4. I am interested in a medical mission; however, I am a soon to be new grad and was wondering if this is something I should wait to do until I have more experience as a RN or something I could benefit from right away. Pros/cons? Thanks for any insight you can give me.
  5. Any recommendations on how long to wait after graduating before taking the NCLEX? In other words, do you dive right in and take it 2 weeks after graduating or is it better to give yourself a month or more to study before taking it? I took my ATI RN predictor and scored a 96%; however, I have such test anxiety that I don't know whether it is better to just do it and get it over with, or give myself more time to prepare. Any thoughts or experiences you could give me? Thanks so much for your input! Alaina
