  1. Use the APEA QBank. I think it is geared towards the AANP. I took the AANP and I was unsuccessful. I signed up for the QBank after I failed. I saw many similar types of questions on the actual AANP. I wished I did it before. Pricey, but worth it. Good luck.
  2. jw1234, Thanks for your insight! Did you find the Fitzgerald online portal for Professional Issues helpful for the legal questions?
  3. I failed both the ANCC-FNP and AANP-FNP as well. It has been a long 3 months of studying and recovering. After graduating in January, I took the Live Fitzgerald Review. Completed all her online lectures, quizzes and test. Did 10 exams on Exam Edge and thoroughly reviewed questions I missed (made note cards and took notes on in a notebook). I studied at the library for 7-8 hours per day for 4 weeks. Made a 78% on Fitz Test and I took the ANCC beginning of March. Failed ANCC, missed it by a few points! Then studied full-time with the Leik book, some of the Fitz Comprehensive Review book (the book that does not come with the course, but the one you have to purchase) on topics I needed to review. In addition, I listened to Fitz Review CD's, while taking notes. Took the Exam Edge for AANP practice tests and reviewed questions I missed. Took the AANP the beginning of April and failed...score 472. This has been a difficult time for me. I scheduled the ANCC mid May. Currently, I am using Fitz Comprehensive Review book, Winland-Brown/Dunphy book, Leik I-tunes app, the APEA Qbank, and Exam Edge. I really need to pass the ANCC. Any suggestions?
