  1. Thank you to all who have provided responses! You have helped me so much!
  2. I would consider applying to a different BSN program. Explore all you're options, but I would search for another bachelors program.
  3. Out of curiosity, how common is it to commit a category 1 HIPAA violation? It sounds like a very easy mistake to make, selecting a wrong file, am I wrong?
  4. Something that I have quickly learned from AllNurses' discussions and various real life interactions is that nurses are very honest. I would like to become better at receiving feedback and information that is presented to me very bluntly. How can learn how to control my emotions when reviving constructive criticism?
  5. Yay! So exciting! [emoji119]🏼 Good luck to both of you.
  6. I didn't send in my application to MNU through NursingCAS, I filled out a paper application and sent in paper versions of everything together in a file. I sent it probably the second week in January.
  7. Got into Baker and MidAmerica Nazarene today! I hope you all are getting good news as well!
  8. This week and next week letters go out! AHHHHHHHHH!
  9. Thanks! It's tough to find the time to visit all of the schools when they only give you two weeks to give them an answer and you're still waiting to hear from other programs.
  10. Congratulations! I got accepted to Saint Mary's yesterday! Decisions decisions... How do you possibly know which school is the best for you? I'm stressing.
  11. You enter all future coursework as "In progress." So I would make sure that you send your transcripts as soon as they are available because of the holidays.
  12. NursingCAS is an awesome tool and they're new update has made applying to multiple schools 10x better. Yes, there is a spot to list honors and awards. Make sure to get all required paperwork sent in early because it takes around a month for them to actually process and review it. Good luck!
  13. So one of the schools is literally in a hospital. It takes up a whole floor while the hospital is below and above it. It's a magnet hospital with a great reputation and awesome NCLEX pass rates but there's a catch. When I went to my interview, I asked about where they do clinicals and they said that they have a partnership with the next nearest magnet hospital/school. So students from program A have clinical at hospitals A and B. Students from program B have clinical at program B and A. Even though they are both exceptional hospitals, that's only two clinical sites. Is that a good thing or bad thing?
  14. That is AWESOME! Do most nursing schools do disaster simulations?
  15. That's awesome! I've applied to Saint Luke's, Saint Mary's, Research College, MidAmerica, and Baker. All traditional programs. I know most programs will contact us in the month of March with a few exceptions. Feeling really nervous and excited at the same time!
