Taylorgrn15, Thank you for your insight! I'm trying to prepare myself for the tough winters but I know its going to be hard to acclimate. I talked with two faculty members and they sold me on the programs just based on their professionalism and desire to help. As far as your application, do you have any tips? Is there anything you did to set yourself apart? When did you hear back about acceptance? I'm nervous but excited! Thank you for your help!

Hello! I am applying to the University of Maine at Fort Kent's ABSN program next year. Is anyone currently in the program? What is the area like? Any suggestions or tips from current students on the admissions process and the program itself? I will be done with all of the required classes by this summer. I'm currently finishing up AP II this semester and I'm taking Stats over the summer. I have taken all the suggested courses (Microbiology, Nutrition, and Human Growth and Development) already and I may take a Chemistry refresher over the summer as well. My cumulative GPA with my BA and last semester is a 3.18. I know they require at least a 3.2. I still have the rest of this semester to raise it to where it needs to be and I am confident I can get it done. I have been getting all A's so far minus one B in AP l. Any tips and help will be greatly appreciated!
