New.npstudent

Hello, this is my first post on here! I'm graduating the BSN program at the University of Arizona and am going straight into the DNP program in August. I really want to continue my education while I'm still in the student mind state and before I start a family or have other obligations. That being said, I'm pretty nervous about going into a DNP program with such little experience. Almost everyone I've told thinks I'm crazy. I was wondering if I could get any advice from more experienced nurses out there or perhaps anyone who's been in my situation. One specific question I have is how possible it is to work through the program. Also, should I inform my potential employers that I'm also a DNP student or keep it to myself? I would like to do my DNP clinicals at the same hospital I work at if possible, although on different units of course. Thank you!!!!
