  1. I got a call today to interview with TMC.
  2. Hold out hope. I heard that it's a slow process getting the names from the units for the recruiter to call with offers. I was supposed to get my offer letter today but she had orientation with the last batch they hired.
  3. I am sure every hospital will be doing a drug screen and background check on their employees. I know for a fact Methodist does nicotine testing on all employees.
  4. They called to offer me the position. I would rather not say which units were offered to me until I decide.
  5. Hi, I heard this morning and got offers from TMC. Will have official info sent Monday with one week to decide.
  6. I applied to TMC for Women's Services and Oncology. Got the invitation for pre-screening but the job ID is for acute care.
  7. I was told they were making decisions Monday and Tuesday and would be notifying people by the end of the week.
  8. Got called today for Match Day at Children's L&D. Praying for us all!
  9. Has anyone heard from Children's for L&D or mother/baby? I heard these units get a lot of applicants so they call later in the process.
  10. I have heard you only get 1 interview. So, if you get called by your second choice facility/position, you lose the first choice (and vice versa).
  11. Yeah I think that's all they're doing for their GNs.
  12. Yes, I have applied to Methodist, St. Luke's, and in the process of applying to Texas Children's.
  13. No, I haven't. Applied to Children's.
  14. I have not heard anything from TMC. Anyone else? I am wondering if they're reviewing until next week like Cjack mentioned.
  15. I believe the application closes today, so I'm hoping we hear something sooner than the 11th.
  16. Applied on 5/15 for TMC first choice. Received and completed the behavioral assessment and questionnaire on 5/21. They did mention during pre-match that those selected for interview will hear before June 22nd, and the match day will be June 25th and 26th. Good luck all!
  17. Applied on 5/15 for TMC first choice. Received and completed the behavioral assessment and questionnaire on 5/21. They did mention during pre-match that those selected for interview will hear before June 22nd, and the match day will be June 25th and 26th. Good luck all!
  18. Pre-match was good. They had an exhibit area with varied units that are hiring in the TMC. There was a conference with a detailed overview of the units, training period, patient-to-nurse ratio. They really did a good job at selling themselves and making it a fun easy-going event.
  19. Wondering for anyone who is going to the pre-match, what are you wearing? The posting says to wear your SON's shirt.
  20. I plan to attend the Pre-Match day this weekend. The application opened this morning for the fall GN program. Good luck all!
  21. Oh, I see that makes sense with a drug screening. But, I just wanna have most of my holds taken off before the admitted day. I'm excited to meet as many people as I can!
  22. I make the payment for the drug test yesterday, and have not received another email with appointment information. How long afterwards did you receive yours?
  23. Very good information to have. Do you know if we will receive an email with instructions for financial aid? I was told that because it's a full semester in the summer, UTH has a different aid scheme than normal schools (where summer is out-of-pocket).
  24. The school supplies the scrubs and you just buy from them? Is there a "new" option for the scrubs. I heard someone mention before on one of these posts about a sim-lab kit from the bookstore, is that true? Do you have to wear a certain shoe, color, material?
  25. Thanks for the confirmation. I want to get my titers, cpr, etc done asap. So the only thing I'll need to do is submit final transcript.
