  1. PASSED!!!!!! What an amazing feeling! God is so so good and faithful! To HIM be all the honor and glory!!!!!
  2. Y'all I've made myself sick stressing today. This is attempt 4. I hadn't looked at material for a year till mid January. So since then, I've read through the Hurst and Kaplan book, Remar Quick Review, and now working through PDA book and going over school notes. Going through my notes is killing me but I feel like I forgetting stuff/can't keep it straight in my head so I continue to go back to them. Then I realize there is SO MUCH MATERIAL! I've been out of school 2 years. I realize how much harder that makes the exam for me at this point. Some advice/encouragement for my next week and a half of studying would be greatly appreciated
  3. Does the book itself come with quite a few questions?
  4. Do you recommend a particular one? The one I have looked at is by laCharity
  5. Debating on whether or not to get PDA book to study for NCLEX-RN. I test in a month. I've reviewed notes, gone through a hurst book, ReMar Quick Facts, and going through Kaplan review book now. I've found where I can rent the book for like $8 so it's not about the money. Wondering if people found it more confusing than helpful. I can't afford the confusion at this point. Side note, this is my 4th attempt at this test. I've been studying 2 months already after not reviewing info for a year. Have studied differently this go around and hoping it makes all the difference. Thanks for your input!
  6. Hello! I tried replying way long ago but it seems I'm having trouble. Anyway, would you mind emailing me? I'd like to let you know what I've done in the past and what I'm doing differently this time and get your feedback and possibly a tutoring session setup. Thanks! [email protected]
  7. If you have your RN degree, I believe you can sit for LPN, due to the fact you met the qualifications and then some. I've been suggested to take LPN boards I'm unsuccessful this go around. Get the license, work, and start focusing on knowing more critical thinking skills.

  9. Don't mean to be a damper, now do ya? Well I don't mean to be rude, however, your comments are neither helpful nor motivating. Remember that thing in nursing school called therapeutic communication?
  10. Thanks for that encouragement
  11. Go above the dean. If the national conceal says you can take it, the deans personal opinion doesn't matter. Dont let this kill your motivation!
  12. Since mid January. I read more forums after I posted this and saw one person give their strategy after basically being in the exact same situation I am now. Remar quick facts review for content; Kaplan NCLEX premier; uworld; PDA book; Saunders questions. Uworld and PrepU seem a lot alike. I ordered the remar book today and have the Kaplan book to go through. Will probably rent the PDA book in a couple weeks. This is my strategy at this point
  13. I graduated nursing school 2 years ago. I sat for NCLEX 3 unsuccessful times. The last time was a year ago and I haven't looked at material since then. Because I did the Pearson trick and it accepted my credit card payment, rather than lose $200 without trying, I reschedule to take the exam the last possible date I could, early April. I've always felt I was failing due to lack of content knowledge. So since I haven't studied in a year, I've definitely lost content. I'm beyond overwhelmed going through school notes. They're helpful but I'm stressing out over my time frame to study. I'm afraid I'm not going to get through it all and be prepared for the test come April 12th. I've gone through a hurst review book and taking questions through PrepU. Is there anyone else that's been in a similar situation as me and can give me some advice? Thanks for any help
