Hi everyone, I am looking for some help. We are looking at using an acuity type tool to determine staffing but are having a hard time finding such. Wondering if anyone would be willing to share what they use? Looking or acuity definitions as well as what RN:Patient ratios you use based on that acuity. Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone! Wondering if anyone has been having issues with NJ tubes becoming obstructed? We have been noticing that our tubes are clogging off more frequently lately and I wanted to see if others were have these issues as well. Also, do you feed higher calorie formula/EBM through your NJ's? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi, I am wondering if anyone would be willing to share what their units currently do in regards to call shifts for your nurses. Do you require them to do call? If so, how much? And if you don't, what is your backup plan when census is up? I am just trying to get a feel of what other units are doing and would really appreciate any feedback you have to offer.
