I asked and she said we could hear from them up until the Friday before the program begins.... which makes me nervous bc I don't live around there and would need to find a place to live

i applied to NYU too it was and it was soooo painful but Rochester doesn't send out emails but they do send something in the mail along with a phone call. Im sure if you emailed Nancy Kita and told her your situation, she would tell you through email. I called and she told me I was waitlisted over the phone so I don't see the difference

i never noticed there was a forum for the Sept. 2016 cohort so hi everyone lol but I'm getting really nervous bc we should be receiving answers soon from last years forum, people started getting phone calls on their admission decision the first week in June...i can't believe its a phone call though i feel like thats unusual

Will they check off if they have received your letter of recommendations? Mine got sent out a while ago and it is still not up there

I applied to the University of Rochester too! lol and yeah I haven't gotten anything checked off either. Did you submit yours a while ago?

I should be submitting my application by the end of this week. Just touching up my personal statement and hoping my LOR's get there on time. I had to send NYU's address to my recommenders bc they prefer to send them out so I hope they get there on time. I'm so nervous!..I also have never volunteered or shadowed any nurses before, but I have been working as an aide for almost a year now so I hope thats okay Good luck to everyone!

Congrats to everyone that got into the program! I am currently applying for the Fall 2016 program and was wondering if anyone could share their stats: GPA and pre-req grades and if any of those pre-reqs were taken more than once. And if you had any nursing experience like shadowing, etc.
