I am sure this has been said numerous times on this site but just this quarter I have started taking my prerequisites to eventually get into the nursing program at my local community college. I am 42 and have not been in school in 25 years. My biggest worries as far as actually qualifying to make the program is getting good grades since although in high school I did ok with a B average I was never a good student as far as study skills are concerned. I think I will do ok in English and Math and most other classes but classes like A&P, microbiology, and chemistry have me a little worried so any advice will be great. I am reading the articles here and so far seem like a lot of great information. Also I am going to Clark College in Vancouver Washington so if anyone went through there recently and can give more specific advice about teachers or classes that would be great as well thanks in advance mark
