Oh well I assume you were offered a contingent admission since you start in the fall right? Wouldn't you just have to make a C to pass ENGL 2 and you'll still be able to start the program? Call the admissions office when they open again and talk to Elizabeth about what your options are.

Engl 2 at tech can be notoriously hard. The essays aren't graded by your teacher but by other teachers in the English department. I'd say just make sure you go to class and make good use of the writing center.
