  1. Bakersfield Ca. Some acnps are finding a bit of a hard time getting in with er's cuz of some loop hole in training. Most are taking FNP.
  2. Hello All! I am currently a AGACNP and looking for a job in one of the local ERs. The minor problem I have found is that because I am not an FNP, who's course had specific material related to pediatrics and women's health, I am having a bit of a hard time securing a job. I have been an ER nurse for over 15 years. Is there anyone else out there with a similar dilemma, or has dealt with a similar situation? Will I have to go back to school to obtain FNP specific courses? The ER with whom I am applying is certainly comfortable with my skills in evaluating and treating pediatric and women's health issues. Can someone help me out with some information? Thank in advance JinglesNP
