  1. I also just passed the NCLEX. To prepare, I spent a good 2 weeks reviewing the Saunders book, especially Mat/Peds since I felt as though I forgot everything I learned that semester. About 20 questions in, I had to take a moment and give myself a pep talk because I was over-thinking everything. I had 10-15 SATA and lots of prioritization and delegation questions. After about an hour and 75 questions later, I walked out feeling like I just got run over by a train. A day later, I found out I passed! Just be sure to take the extra 3 seconds and read each question twice so that you are absolutely sure of what it's asking. Good luck!
  2. Thanks for the info. I'll keep looking for RN positions. I also have a MBA and for random reasons, the MBA hurts me when it comes to job hunting in my local area, in addition to the complete lack of clinical experience. I truly want to be a clinical RN but if something doesn't become available soon, I'll have to put that dream on hold and find something that will pay the mortgage, child care, etc.
  3. Just passed the NCLEX in January 2016 and like many others that just graduated, finding a job as a RN is difficult without experience. In Florida, are RN's allowed to work as a MA or LPN in order to gain clinical experience?
