  1. Hey guys im currently in nursing school at a BSN program I've worked extremely hard to get into. I even have 2 years of tech experience under my belt. First, I was wondering if nursing is anything like being a tech. Because most days it's extremely annoying only being good for taking people to the ****** bathroom. And being relied on to do EVERYTHING for everyone. Based on where I work the nurses never take patients to the bathroom or do tech stuff they will literally sit right by a call light and not answer it & wait for me to get it. And the pt to tech ratio is 18:1 while nurses get 4 pts max. Sometimes I wonder what the hell nurses actually do besides pass medications. Since I'm in nursing school I understand it's important but it doesn't take the whole shift to pass meds so what else do nurses really do.....
