Future rn, my shadow experience was very laid back. You really just get shown around the unit and meet the staff. I helped transport a patient to the step down unit and that was the only patient care I helped with. More of a feel out the environment.

Just found out I got sticu too. Gotta make a decision by the 15th. Time to find a place to live!!! Can't wait to meet you guys josh

Thanks Alexandra! the surgical icu manager interview was a little more pressure then the cardiac icu. Some tougher questions but all in all not too bad. The cardiac icu was super chill and everyone was great. Josh

Ray, and all, offered a job in the cicu:) waiting to hear back from sticu. So freakin excited!! as for credentials my gpa is nothing special but I have good work experience as a Tech for a new grad and I played ncaa college baseball

Ray, im flying in monday night and interviewing tuesday so let me know how it goes! It sure sounds like theres a lot of fun things to do in the area and lots of good bars. What was the name of the crossfit gym i need to check that out too! so many nice apartments and the price of living is so much cheapter then NJ! I got the email with the benefits and stuff too. Cant wait to get down there Monday and check out the area

They emailed me back and said there just waiting for the managers to talk so I can do both units on the same day. I'm so excited! Good luck in your interview let me know how it goes

Nice to meet you too! Are you a new grad?? I graduate in May. I am just waiting on interview dates because I had to make sure I could miss class í ½í¸ I'm so excited to go check out the area. Cardiothoracic icu was my top choice but surgical trauma would be so cool!! I want to be a crna so any icu experience I can get is amazing. Good luck on your interviews! Hey Ray!! I applied also and am going to interview for cardiac ICU, surgical trauma icu and surgical step down! I am so excited. Im flying in from Jersey though so it would be a big change for me. What floors did you apply to? Josh
