  1. Hi. A short back story. I graduated from the RN program in Ontario on May 2014. That was the last year to write the CRNE (Canadian Registered Nurse Examination) before the NCLEX was implemented in Canada in Jan '15. My BON didn't receive my first application to write the exam so I had to wait til Oct '14, which I didn't end up writing. I first wrote the NCLEX in Spring 2015 to see what the exam was like, I failed which was a risk I was willing to take. 252 questions the exam shut off. I booked myself for January 2016 for my second attempt. I bought Saunders comprehensive review to review nursing content as I've been out of school for awhile as well as 300 NCLEX meds and that was it. I went in and the exam shut off at 110 questions with mostly priotitization/some SATA/infection control questions. I came out feeling a bit better about it and to find out I failed 4 days later was maddening. my biggest problem I find is I don't know how to think the *Nclex* way, how to answer the questions, because we weren't taught in school for the NCLEX but for the CRNE. I'm so frustrated. I'm thinking of enrolling in the NCLEX-RN review program at Toronto School of Health to help me change how I study and how to approach the NCLEX. Any other Canadian educated RNs who wrote the NCLEX (or successful NCLEX writers) feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
