  1. I think you have a pretty good chance. I got in last year with a 3.89 and 81% TEAS. I could be a little off, but I think last year they accepted around 120-150, with somewhere around 250 applicants. Since it's Mayo's off year, there's only the two downtown cohorts and summer, so I believe they'll have roughly 100 spots. You definitely have a good shot. Stay positive and good luck!
  2. You can order the ASU scrubs, and accessory items, here! ASU Home Page - Apparel Pro Health Care Wear Their store is fairly close to main campus.
  3. Congrats everyone! I'm so incredibly happy right now ha. Anyone else starting at the VA?
  4. I got in for the VA cohort!! So so so so relieved omg haha. What cohorts are you guys in?
  5. What?! Congrats! Oh man, I'm nervous now. I haven't gotten anything. Has anyone else heard back?
  6. Jennifer emailed this to me about an hour ago: "It is my goal to have them out this week, but it could extend to next week." So, I don't know who's saying it's going to be the end of the month, but I really really hope that's not true.
  7. Yeah, a "week or so" seems a bit ridiculous. It seems some advisors will only respond with the "safe answer." I was told a week the day before we received our confirmation emails, so I'm really hoping we get them tomorrow, or at least this week. Jennifer seems like she would be more helpful here.
  8. I could be wrong, but I believe they send out the acceptance emails right at noon (or at least they have in the past). I'm hoping we get them tomorrow. I don't think I can wait very much longer lol
  9. To the people who have already gotten there confirmation emails: Are you guys all direct admit? I haven't gotten mine yet, but I'm a competitive applicant, so I'm wondering if that's why. This is even more torturous now knowing people have gotten them already lol
  10. Yeah, nothing yet. Seems kind of odd. Even the advancement packet says that review emails will be sent out in March. Definitely starting to get frustrating.
  11. well that's good to know! This is seriously killing me. If they don't send them today, I'm gonna go crazy lol.
  12. Anyone heard anything else about the review emails? I'm going insane lol. I'm surprised we haven't gotten them yet. I figured it would at least be today, but I'm doubtful.
  13. Well thank you for the reassurance. I need it lol. I'm just glad to have it other with honestly. I was stressing out about the test for so long. And yes, definitely! I put Mayo as my first choice actually. Hoping that I get into that one. My advisor told me that with the exception of the last two years, the average cut off score was around a 1.650. Hopefully it stays around there this time year.
  14. Well, I took the test and got a 79.3% :/ Definitely not as good as I was hoping for. My overall application score is 1.763. The cutoff for the last 5 years has been lower than my score, so I'm crossing my fingers that it doesn't jump up this year. Just have to wait and see now, which is terrible. Thanks for all the help, everyone! Good luck
  15. Kelts118: Well that definitely makes me feel better lol thank you. I've been going over the ATI manual every day for a few weeks, so I'm hoping I'll be comfortable when I take the actual test. Thank you! I hope you're right :)
  16. Egaddy: Yeah, math is definitely my weakest also. Thanks for the tips :)
  17. That's what I think I'm leaning towards. That's a pretty good score. I somehow ended up with a 3.88 GPA, but I'm really, really nervous for the TEAS. I took a practice test and got a 70% :/
  18. Oh, that's exciting! Congrats on getting in. Are you in the traditional downtown cohort? I definitely will. Haha I'm already going insane just thinking about it. If you don't mind me asking, what was your select GPA and TEAS score?
  19. Much appreciated! Which cohort are you in? What do you like/not like about it? Any tips/recommendations for me?
  20. Hey everyone, I am applying by the Feb. 1st deadline for the cohorts beginning summer/fall this year (2016). I take the TEAS in a week, so I'm all sorts of nervous, but I'm having trouble deciding how to rank my preference of cohorts on my application. I'm debating on whether or not to put the regular downtown cohort as my number 1, or the Mayo cohort as number 1. VA would be my third, and the summer program would be my fourth. I'm really torn. I've heard great things about Mayo, and it would be amazing to work there after I'm done with school, but I feel like you lose out on the "college experience", as well as a variety of clinicals. I'd just be happy to be accepted into the program, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to get advice/opinions from others in my situation! Thanks :)
