Hi, I am currently working casual RPN position at LTC in Toronto. I got my RPN license last year, since then I have only two casual position. My nursing career is about 10 years, I am an internationally educated nurse. I know every one struggling this nursing job market in Toronto... Now, I am thinking to work at call center as medical interpreter for my original language speakers. It is full time job with benefit package. Of course salary is less than RPN job, but I am working only 4-6 times a month. I am not sure when I could get part time at LTC... I also want to have kids in couple of years(I am in my mid 30s), my life style will be changed and I do not know if I could continue work with raising children.. maybe casual work is better for mom
  2. Hi, I will start to study jurisprudence exam:nurse: Does anyone already pass? If so, how long did you study? Any study tips? I do not want waste $40..... but, I have no idea how difficult it is. CNO website have a lot of study materials, is that all important?
  3. Hi:yes: I took the exam yesterday too. This is the first time to take the exam for me. I took two ASI pre exam and possibility passing rate was 90 to 95 percent at second one. But, I was easier than real test. I finished 1 hour before and reviewed some questions which I was not sure. Some questions are very difficult to chose one..... When I finished the exam, I thought it was okay, but after I came back to home I realized some mistake. Now I am super anxious about the result. How many percent we should get to pass? If fail the exam, what recommend? If fail the exam, the second exam is harder than first time? or same level? because I saw the statistics which shows low passing rate at rewrite the exam.
