  1. Make sure you send a "thank you for the interview" email. I did that 3 days after my interview and was accepted exactly a week later.
  2. My interview was last Monday, the 8th. I received an email, on my personal account, yesterday the 14th. My TEAS score was only 76 and my gpa is 3.6. I did express how important I thought being a positive presence was and that I would be 100% dedicated (no other priorities-work or family wise) while in the program. I am not sure if I am going to accept or decline. I have been accepted elsewhere also.
  3. I got an email saying I've been conditionally accepted!! (Depending on how I do with my last few prerequisites) Any suggestions on where to go for the hep shot?
  4. My interview was Monday. Yes, they ask what is most important to you from your personal statement. They also asked some scenario questions about getting over loaded with the program and personal priorities. The faculty member that I met with was very down to earth. She said that you always want to talk to faculty if you ever get behind and your gpa is dropping. She also said she likes how I didn't plan on working during the program. They pretty much just want to know that you will be 100% committed. I felt like mine went well. Good luck to the rest of you!
  5. I got an email for an interview today. Good luck everyone!
  6. It's just a few simple questions and $35
  7. Have you called nursing CAS? I am thinking about calling tomorrow, maybe that will speed things along! I hope so!
  8. I took the TEAS today and submitted my application. Hopefully it is not too late for Nursing CAS to verify it. I did not do too hot on my TEAS, it was my first time to take it. My score was 76.7%. I did great on the science section though. My GPA overall is 3.58, Science GPA of 3.78. I have no nursing experience, but I am a Biology lab assistant at Lone Star College. I don't know if that will hold any value with this program.
