  1. Yes if given during the dialysis treatment gradually I know is ok. But what if the nurse forgot to give it through the machine to the patient and at rinse back just decided to push it all through? then it caused and air in blood and caused the patient to have burning of the lungs and lungs closing up and choking could not breath. had to be put on oxygen.. is it dangerous to just give it at rinse back and not during treatment?
  2. I had a question..During rinseback of a dialysis patient. If you have forgot to give their Iron or any other med. DO you mark it as forgot and give next treatment. Isn't it dangerous to just give it to them during rinse back in fear of pushing an air bubble through? Has anyone experienced or seen this?
