  1. Do you mean trade school/ community college? Besides some hospitals in some areas of the counrty mandating BSN's within the next 5 years Ive never hesrd this? Myself and most RN's I know and have worked with have graduated from or started at a community college with no employment issues. Noone has ever even asked me where I went to school before they hired me, its all about experience and references once your in the real world. Nursing School is nothing like the reality of nursing.
  2. first of all, If you haven't been in the environment it can be very intimidating starting out. B's in nursing school are just fine! Nursing school is completely different then most other programs and can be very challenging. Also, your young! I would say give it at least another semester so you can acclimate a little more before making a decision like quitting. Now it's not for everybody and that's completely fine, but if it's something you've always wanted to do I would stick it out a little bit longer, If it's not for you that's OK! better to figure that out now!
