  1. I was apart of 2015 class. Going through the 2nd degree program was the worst decision I have ever made. The class size was too big for the instructors to teach and for clinical sites. The amount of students they accept is irresponsible. There are not enough jobs in the Pittsburgh area for such a large class... SIDE NOTE: there are a long list of nursing schools in the area and their graduates are look for jobs as well. School officials make you believe you'll find a job, but that is NOT true. They expect you to just know information that they don't know themselves. They started out lectures saying, "this may or may not be right"... I never felt more cheated. They drove us all insane with their HESI standards. They claim they know nothing about the EXIT HESI and we are to study and retain EVERYTHING in the NECLEX book in order to pass in a short period of time. Majority of our class DID NOT PASS the EXIT HESI on the first try. THEY DID NOT prepare us well; our scores were terribly low - it was devastating. But that didn't stop some of the instructors from yelling at us and attacking our study methods, they continuously blamed us for not passing, even through we did EVERYTHING they told us to do. I warn anyone who reads this, go to another school, you will be much better off - I'm speaking from experience!!! There were many students who did not finish the program and had to pay $3000 just to retake Role Prep to sit for the EXIT HESI again. Most of us now see our experience as a well thought out money scam.
