I am just beginning to study! I don't know where to begin. I'm just reading the whole study guide I guess.

I was wondering the same thing since they will no longer be offering the HESI. I was going to try and take it before February as well but I would have to travel to take it since FSW doesn't offer it anymore. They said they would post more information about the TEAS transition in January.

There is another person on here from Lehigh and plans on applying for lee campus. I am a little far from you.

I'm gonna go to the library tomorrow to get a few different books. I'm just not sure what one to get because I have hear so many different things. I'm starting my AP I class on Saturdays but I'm available in the evenings or all day Sunday's. We could do it over Skype maybe?? Lol I know it's hard when we live far.. What study guide do you have?

Ok, well maybe we can set up a meeting spot in Cape Coral if it's not to far for you. If not you can wait to see if someone else that's closer is interested. Did you buy the study guide yet? I heard there are free apps etc... I haven't bought it yet but my friend told me about an app that I might try to get.

I think I am going to take the TEAS as well because we only have until the end of this month to take the HESI because FSW will no longer accept it after February 1st. If we don't score well and need to take it again we will have to take the TEAS anyway because there won't be enough time in between test to make it by February. Also if for some reason we don't get in for fall program then we need to apply for Spring and they will only be allowing the TEAS going forward. Where are you trying to get in? Where do you live? I'm trying to get into Charlotte, I live in Punta Gorda. I would like to have someone to study with!

I'm applying for Charlotte my 1st choice and Lee my second by the May 15th deadline. I've heard of people getting in with scores even as low as 54.

Hello everyone, I wanted to create a thread for those of us that are planning on applying to the nursing program for fall 2016. We can post about studying for the HESI/TEASE. FSW has changed from the HESI beginning Febuary 2016, so those of you that haven't already taken it you must take the HESI before Febuary 1st. If not you will need to plan on studying for the TEASE. Application deadline is May 15th. We can post about our points, most of you know what that consist of. Students are admitted off from a point system, the higher the points the better chance you have of being selected for the program. Our points is based off how many prerequisites we have taken upon application, our gpa for those prerequisites we have taken. And finally our HESI or TEASE score. For those of you that haven't taken the HESI or TEASE we can plan a study group either online or in person. I'm a in my final class required to apply (AP I), in another school. I will have 7 courses completed upon application so that gives me 29 points for that. I have not taken the HESI yet so I don't know my points for that yet. I haven't been able to figure out my final gpa yet because I'm in this last course. But I hope to get to know some of you and I hope one day we will even be in class together!

I am interested in studying! We can even skype or plan a meeting when it fits into our schedule. I do know that FSW is changing the test from the HESI to the TEAS. If you plan on applying by the My 15the you can use your HESI score as long as it was taken before Febuary 2016. They will be giving out information about the TEASE in January for those of us that can't take the HESI by Febuary. I have heard the HESI is easier than the TEASE.
